Add Deskdove to Shopify
The Deskdove app adds your chat assistant to your Shopify store through a theme app embed: no code, works with every theme, and it's removed automatically if you uninstall the app.

Install the Deskdove app
Open Deskdove on the Shopify App Store and click Install. Shopify asks you to approve it, then opens the app in your admin.

Connect your Deskdove account
In the app, click Connect Deskdove. A new tab opens: sign in to Deskdove (or create an account), pick your site and click Connect this site.

Switch on the chat in your theme
Back in the app, click Open theme editor. It opens App embeds with Chat assistant switched on. Click Save.

Check it on your store
Open your store in a new tab. The chat bubble appears in the corner. The app's status shows On, and new leads appear under Recent leads.
Chat not showing? In Shopify go to Online Store > Themes > Customize > App embeds and check that Chat assistant is on and saved. It doesn't appear on checkout pages.
