How do I install Deskdove?+
Paste one script tag into your website, just before the closing body tag: <script src="https://deskdove.com/widget.js" data-business="your-business" async></script>. It works on WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and custom sites. You can set the button colour, label and position with data attributes.

How much does Deskdove cost?+
Free is $0 for 1 website with 300 AI messages a month. Where does the AI get its answers?+
Only from your own content: your website pages, services, prices, policies and FAQ. If something isn't covered, the assistant says it isn't sure and offers to take the visitor's details so your team can follow up. It is instructed never to invent prices, features or policies.
Which tools does it integrate with?+
Every new lead or booking can trigger a webhook in JSON, Slack or email format. A ready-made n8n workflow and a Zapier guide are included, so you can send leads to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Google Sheets, Airtable or any CRM that accepts webhooks or Zapier.
How do bookings work?+
On Pro, visitors choose a service and an open time slot based on your business hours, directly in the chat. Same-day slots are not offered, so the earliest slot is the next day. Each booking request appears in your dashboard and can be pushed to your calendar workflow via webhook.
What happens when I hit my message limit?+
The assistant keeps working by matching visitors' questions to your FAQ and offering to take their details, so no lead is lost. AI answers resume the next period. You can upgrade to Pro for higher limits.
Is my data private?+
Each business has its own private owner dashboard behind a login. Visitor IP addresses are only stored as one-way hashes for rate limiting. The assistant only uses the content you give it.
